What is a cyst?
A cyst is a pathological formation in the tissues or organs. Depending on its shape and location, it has different contents. The capsule separates from the surrounding structures. Sometimes the walls of the cyst is the tissue of the organ in which it is located.

What are the causes of cysts?
There are many reasons for the formation of cysts in the human body. Isolated congenital and acquired cysts. The first type occurs due to a violation of organs (embryogenesis) or due to atresia of the excretory ducts. As for the second type, traumatic cysts, retention, parasitic, softening cysts and tumor are isolated. The reasons are different: violation of the outflow of secretions, the appearance of parasites in the body, necrosis (death) of a certain area of tissue, injuries.

There are also provoking factors common to all types of cysts:
- disruption of the immune system.
- Infection.
- Overcooling.
- Excessive physical and emotional stress.
- Hormonal dysfunction.

What are the signs of a cyst?
In most cases, her presence unnoticed. But over time, with an increase in its size and disorders of the affected organ, it is possible that various clinical symptoms may occur. It all depends on the location of the cyst.

How dangerous is a cyst?
The percentage of independent disappearance of the cystic cavity is quite low. And the risk of increasing it over time-increases. That is why, in the absence of the necessary treatment, the pathology can explode, fester, and squeezing the surrounding tissues and organs, disrupt their work. There is a risk of malignant transformation.

Possible consequences:
- Compression of surrounding organs, tissues and structures, which leads to disruption of their work. - - The increase in the size of cystic cavity.
- Infection and suppuration.
- Rupture of the cyst capsule.
- An ovarian cyst can cause infertility.
- Experts say that the risk of cyst malignancy is minimal.

Can the cyst resolve on its own-the question is quite complicated. It all depends on the age of the disease, the size and form of education. That is why it is important to undergo annual preventive examinations by specialists. And at detection of a cyst it is necessary to consult the attending physician concerning further tactics.

you'll be eating a cyst from a tumor?
A cyst refers to a group of benign tumors. The contents are surrounded by a capsule. For a long time does not manifest itself. Clinical symptoms occur in large amounts of education and if the cyst is the cause of disorders of the body. Tumors come in two varieties: malignant (cancer) and benign. Benign tumors need to be differentiated with the cyst, since the clinic and the structure are similar. If it is a tumor, atypical cells will be detected in the tissue sample. In the cystic formation no cells, the content meets localization. The only thing that will help with the accuracy of the answer, a cyst or a tumor biopsy tissue and histological examination. If there is no capsule, there is a characteristic rapid and aggressive growth with the destruction of surrounding tissues, cells, not typical of their location — a malignant tumor. This type of pathological formation is characterized by metastasis-the spread of cancer cells throughout the body. In the presence of metastases the prognosis is poor. As spend diagnosis? General clinical tests will help to identify only the disorder in the body and are not specific. More detailed information can be obtained by using complementary methods: chest x-ray. UZI. Computer and magnetic resonance imaging. Laparoscopy. Biopsy. Analysis for tumor markers.
