HIV, vaginal fluid and broken pimple
on: May 03, 2018,
Hello,
I recently had my broken pimple come into direct contact with vaginal fluid from an HIV positive lady. The pimple is located at the uppermost part of my penis.I used a condom during the sexual intercourse but my pimple got popped during the act and came into direct contact with vaginal fluid.I later on just wiped the area with tissue paper, it started bleeding . I did not wash it with water. My worries are:t
1) Am I at risk of getting HIV?
2)I wish to ask if you have had similar cases like mine whereby the person concerned later on confessed of testing negative?
               Thank you.

You had no risk.

The pimple was not an direct entery route and the fluids you came into contact with were not hiv infectious.

Move on with your life

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

vaginal fluid and broken pimple

Tones, pimples or scrapes are common questions with a common answer and the more paranoid or delusional types go test for no reason. You  might as well be asking me about if someone tested negative after using a toilet seat

People have a very poor understanding of biology, not sure how any of this is relevant to you.

Jim
